About us
Our Club
Founded in 1973, Hayden Youth Association is a voluntary run organisation providing football for boys and girls starting from 5 years old at our "All Stars" Sunday morning training programme through to our senior men’s team. We run around 24 teams and have approx 300 playing members and believe that football should be an inclusive sport for players of all ages and abilities.
We are a FA Charter Standard Community club, the highest FA recognition in youth football and as such it is a clear priority to have an Association that is welcoming to all our members and visitors and an environment that is safe, secure and comfortable.
Our Vision
Hayden recognises the importance of sport, and football in particular, as a means of teaching young people about personal fitness and health and the social and interpersonal skills playing in a team and belonging to a club brings with it. We run mini, junior and senior football and the club is aiming to expand its reach to include more girls football. We also now have a veterans club for those that just cant hang up the boots.
The overall vision of the club is to provide quality, safe opportunities for young people in our community through the medium of football. To introduce people to football regardless of age, sex, religion, ethnic background, ability and sexual orientation. Help young people realise their potential, develop personal skill and confidence.
